My First (and Hopefully Not the Last) Blog Post

Personal blogs… what a joke.  We live in a society these days where everything is public and people feel every ridiculous thought that goes through their head is pure gold that needs to be heard by their friends and the world.  Not to mention 98% of blogs last a total of about 5 posts – I’m hoping to make it to 6.

So why am giving this a shot... This blog is more of a journal for myself to put my hectic life and never-resting mind onto paper.  Try to take 30 minutes every week or two and organize my thoughts.  If some friends, family, business associates want to read it, I’m honored – If the only person who reads this is myself and maybe my mom, well that’s ok too.

I am 26 year old “young professional” living in West Los Angeles.   I am the Marketing and Product Development Manager at Lenmar Enterprises and as always, seem to be involved in a bunch of additional side projects.  I love the beach, the weather, the food, and everything else that comes along with living in Southern California.  “I love seasons too, that’s why I choose to live in a place that skips the shitty ones” –Daniel Tosh.  Anyways, I digress; my passions in life are business/entrepreneurship, sports/U of A, traveling, good food/drinks, and spending time with my family, girlfriend, and friends.  I plan to touch on all of these things in my writings.

This is either going to be an extremely short stint in blogging where I realize I don’t have the time or anything to say, or it could turn into an outlet where I can share some entertaining stories, random thoughts, and deep insight into the mind of Josh Goldberg (and yes, they will be pure gold).  I am content with either outcome and look forward to giving this a shot.

Bear Down,
Josh

PS I anxiously await the point in my life where I can sign all my work emails “Bear Down”.
